Practice tempo that climbs

What it does

Metronome Climber is a practice metronome that raises the tempo for you. Set a starting tempo and an interval; when the interval ends you hear a chime, the tempo steps up, and the next interval begins automatically. Start a passage at 80 BPM and you are playing it at 100 before you have thought about it.

Privacy policy

Metronome Climber collects nothing. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind.

The app does not connect to the internet at all. Specifically:

• No personal information is collected, stored or transmitted.
• No usage or diagnostic data is gathered.
• Nothing is shared with third parties, because nothing is collected.
• Your settings — tempo, subdivision, meter, interval length and climb — are saved only on your own device, and are removed if you delete the app.

Frequently asked

The click is silent. Check the volume, and note that the app deliberately plays through the ringer switch — if you hear nothing with the switch on silent, restart the app.

Does it keep playing in the background? Yes. The click continues when you switch apps or the screen sleeps.

Can I change settings while it is playing? Yes. Every setting can be changed mid-session without stopping the click.
